Trap House Productions started with a simple idea: bring a podcast to life.
Then, because apparently I don’t know how to leave well enough alone, that little idea started turning into something much bigger.
While trying to come up with a name for the podcast, I accidentally bought the Trap House Productions domain. And, well… once you accidentally buy the domain, there’s really only one reasonable thing to do: full-send the idea and see where it goes.
So, here we are.
Trap House Productions is a new creative venture offering graphic design, reworks, layouts, branding, social media graphics, logo design, and all those little design projects that you have in your head but may not have the time, tools, or patience to bring to life.
I have a BST in Commercial Graphics from Pittsburg State University, and I genuinely love helping people take an idea from “Okay, hear me out…” to “Holy crap, that actually looks awesome.”
Whether you need a logo, promotional materials, social media content, a layout cleaned up, or just someone to help turn your vision into something tangible, I’d love to help.

And, of course, this whole adventure started with a podcast. Open Mic Night Podcast will be launching its first episode soon, and we hope you’ll join us as we figure out exactly where this crazy little idea takes us.

Meet Megan Purvis
Hi, I’m Megan Purvis — graphic designer, podcast enthusiast, community volunteer, dog mom, mom of two, and apparently the kind of person who accidentally buys a domain name and turns it into a business.
I live in Mound City with my kids and our four dogs plus always a foster pup or five, so life is rarely quiet, rarely organized, and almost always entertaining.
I earned my BST in Commercial Graphics from Pittsburg State University, and I’ve always loved the creative process — taking an idea, figuring out what makes it work, and turning it into something people can actually see, share, and enjoy.
When I’m not working on Trap House Productions, I’m the Executive Director of Dirt Road Rescue, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit I started with four other equally crazy dog ladies. Helping animals and giving back to my community is a huge part of who I am, and I try to help wherever I can.
Family is also at the center of everything I do. My kids, my family, my community, and my dogs keep me busy, grounded, and occasionally wondering why I thought taking on one more thing was a good idea.
But that’s kind of how Trap House Productions came to be... I had an idea. Then another idea. Then I accidentally bought a domain. And now I’m going turn this thing into an amazing opportunity.
I love helping people bring their ideas to life, whether that means designing a logo, creating social media graphics, reworking an existing design, designing a graphic for your event or business merch, building promotional materials, drafting a techinal spec or SOP, or simply sitting down and figuring out how to make an idea work.
You bring the idea. I’ll bring the design, the enthusiasm, and probably way too many ideas of my own.
